What this is

The Timothy Jones Jr. Case Archive is a searchable edition of the 2019 trial record inThe State v. Timothy Ray Jones, Jr., Nos. 2015-GS-32-0188, 0189, 0190, 0191, and 0195. It covers jury selection on April 29 through sentencing on June 13, 2019.

The archive contains all 32 trial dates, 217 transcript pages, 364 proceedings, and 53,537 transcript lines. The transcript also prints six sidebar exchanges.

Primary source

Transcript text comes from twelve court-hosted reporter volumes in the Record on Appeal filed with the South Carolina Supreme Court. The archive covers reporter pages 81–5,974 of the main trial.

The source PDFs are not republished here. Reporter page and line numbers accompany the HTML transcript so readers can check passages against the court record.

This edition covers the main trial transcript. Separate pretrial transcripts and appellate exhibits filed after the trial reporter certificate are outside its scope.

Supporting material

The sidebar directory covers the six exchanges whose dialogue is printed in the reporter transcript. Other sidebar notations mark a conference without preserving its discussion.
