Linda Watkins testified on Day 12 about a customer encounter at the Bypass Liberty store. She described a black Escalade, purchases of cigarettes, water, and an energy drink, and a request for directions to Sherling Lake Campgrounds.

Watkins authenticated the store receipt, surveillance video, and still images. The receipt admitted into evidence identified the purchaser as "Jones, Jr., Timothy R."

Her firsthand account included both ordinary and unusual observations. She said the customer was polite, quiet, and appeared normal, but she noticed a strong odor and the time he spent in the vehicle; she did not observe intoxication, agitation, or conduct that caused her to call police.
