2.Arraignment of Timothy Ray Jones, Jr.
10 linesTHE COURT: For purposes of the record, the State has handed up indictments 15-GS-32-188, 189, 190, 191 and 195. All five indictments are for the offense of murder. The indictments allege, in general, that Mr. Jones in Lexington County between the 28th of August, 29th of August of 2014 did with malice kill the victim, Merah Gracie Jones, in violation of 16-3-10. Indictment 189, August 28th and 29th of '14 did with malice kill the victim, Elias Jones, in violation of 16-3-10. August 28th and 29th alleged Mr. Jones did take with malice kill the victim, Abigail Jones, in violation of 16-3-10. That was indictment 190. Indictment 191, Mr. Jones in Lexington County on the 28th and 29th did with malice kill Gabriel Jones in violation of 16-3-10. And lastly, 195, indictment alleges that Mr. Jones in Lexington County on the 28th and 29th of '14 did with malice kill Nahtahn Jones in violation of 16-3-10. I didn't read verbatim each indictment but summarized them. Mr. Jones, you stand here in the courtroom with Counsel, these five indictments presented are intended to be called.

TIMOTHY RAY JONES, JR.: Not guilty by reason of insanity.
