Defense neuropharmacologist Jonathan Lipman testified that AB Pinaca more likely than not exacerbated Timothy Jones's underlying psychosis-spectrum mental illness, while acknowledging limits in the prescription history and other information supporting his opinions. After hearing correctional officers' accounts of statements attributed to Jones during Kirkland intake, the court ruled the statements voluntary and available for the State's use. The State then presented chain-of-custody testimony and digital-forensics examiner Mike Phipps, who described phone extractions and a report containing calls, texts, searches, web history, and other phone artifacts. The court ended the day after marking State's Exhibit 199 for identification only.
